  I transferred from another virgin active in London and I have had no end of problems trying to sort out my November payment which they overcharged. I call every week to try and resolve the issue however the accounts team are impossible to get hold of and very rarely actually call you back to resolve the problem quickly. Quite unhappy that I transferred and wish I had just cancelled my membership in Clapham. The gym in Sheffield is not very clean and reminds me of a public swimming pool, the ladies changing room had hairs all over the floor and the sinks were shockingly dirty, I don't want to go back however I have unknowingly signed a 12 month membership (I know I transferred I was shocked also!) and therefore I am chained to this gym until next year. Oh well, make sure you get a copy of whatever they ask you to sign, I didn't and don't be fooled into thinking that by transferring you are on the same terms as your previous virgin active gym.
